Common Thread
Something freeing and exciting happened this weekend... I found my design motto. “The common
thread in your décor is YOU!”. I read this on a blog and I was
immediately sold. It’s perfect. Everything doesn’t have to match; in fact it
doesn’t even have to make any sense. As long as all the pieces are things you
love, it will work! I have been on a décor frenzy the last few
days. I got some awesome chairs, a beautiful rug, a great ceramic elephant,
and some pretty glass bottles! All for under $100! Here are some
pics….

Writings on the wall
So I stumbled across this AWESOME website called Feed Your Soul. I printed out three of the FREE, yes FREE paintings and they totally help complete my favorite gallery wall.
Jump on over to Feed Your Soul: Free Art Project and be as happy as me :)
Don't let a burden bring you down...its Friday!!

Painting!
So as Ryan and I were driving down the street, I found a chair in the road I just had to have. Here it is...
I initially thought its home would be in our foyer. However, after examining my poor paint job I realized it might fit in better outside. So here is its home...
I plan to get a little table and maybe a flower pot to put next to it.I also want to get a cute seat cushion to cover up the un-level seat. This is a chair for looking at, not sitting in.
Anyway, this is my little attempt at seeing potential in ugly furniture.
